Announcements from East
The North Carolina State Board of Education is moving to a new Student Information System. Beginning in July 2025, Union County Public Schools will begin using Infinite Campus. This system will replace PowerSchool for access to grades, attendance, assignments and other important school information.
The last day of Summer School is July 15th. Summer school office hours are 7:30-2:30.
East Elementary School is available to support our parents from 8:00-3:00, Monday-Thursday.
Our normal office hours (7:00-3:30) will resume August 19th. If you have any questions, please contact Walter Bickett Education Center at 704-296-0152.

Tours can be requested by appointment. You will need:
- Student's Birth Certificate
- Parent/Legal Guardian Photo ID
- Two proofs of address
- Immunization record
- NC Health Assessment Form
- Parent email
Announcements from the District
Union County Public Schools uses PaySchools Central for school meal payments (replaced K-12 Payment Center). Parents will need their child’s Infinite Campus student ID number to register for PaySchools Central and complete a free and reduced meal application.
